Our interest in Labrador Retrievers started during the early 80’s. Bill was looking for an all-around hunting dog, and I wanted one to love.  We were fortunate to start with a wonderful pup out of KR Rahfeek Maarna Saaid Naab, a Sandylands Markwell daughter and sired by Sandylands Rip VanWinkle.  We called her Faith, and she was our foundation bitch.  In training Faith, we were introduced to AKC Hunt Tests and Obedience Trials.  We have since trained and titled numerous dogs at all levels of hunting, obedience, and conformation. Graycroft Labradors follows the training methods outlined by Mike Lardy and Pat Burns. We find it allows our dogs to fulfill their potential in the field. Our goal in breeding Labradors is to retain correct conformation while maintaining temperament, intelligence and instinct.
